Verbeeren Aigul
Head of Delivery BeNeLux – Fujitsu
Aigul Verbeeren (1985), Head of Delivery BeNeLux at Fujitsu, is a leader defined by resilience. Her candidacy is underscored by her management of a massive geopolitical crisis and her current role in steering large-scale organizational transformation across Western Europe.
Verbeeren’s leadership was tested during the onset of the war in Ukraine, where she managed the complex transition of thousands of engineers and services from Russia to delivery centers in India and Poland, ensuring business continuity and preserving customer trust. In the months that followed, Aigul actively supported the recovery phase as ai Head of Delivery Belgium and later ai Head of Delivery Netherlands on top of her transition & transformation role, strengthening collaboration between Fujitsu’s Western Europe business and Global Delivery teams worldwide, leading to renewed customer confidence and improving satisfaction levels.
Relocating to Belgium, she now oversees delivery for the Benelux region, managing over 1,000 employees and aligning operations with Fujitsu’s shift towards high-value consulting and sustainability-led solutions.
Her background as a software developer gives her deep technical insight, but her focus is resolutely human-centric. Verbeeren is driven by an ambition to build a ‘human-centric technology environment’ that connects business innovation with social value. Having experienced cultures where female leadership in IT was rare, she is deeply committed to mentoring young women in Fujitsu’s global organization, helping them build the confidence to thrive in the digital era.
Aigul Verbeeren believes that true transformation in the ICT sector is not only about technology and innovation, but also about empowering people and creating equal opportunities for all talents to thrive. Outside of work, Aigul is known for her competitive spirit and passion for sports, including boxing—an activity that reflects her determination, discipline, and resilience.
