Ine Segers

Ine Segers has already accomplished a lot in her role as Director Cyber Trust Belgium at Devoteam.  In just 2.5 years, she has grown the cybersecurity team to over 50 consultants despite the scarce cyber talent in the market. Ine is seen as a cybersecurity expert who generates awareness and promotes innovations within Devoteam and beyond. For example, she recently spoke at the Gartner Security Risk Management conference where she presented an innovative cybersecurity framework that she developed.

‘If you really want it, it is possible’: Ine’s ambition is to inspire more women and girls to pursue technology careers. She wants to serve as an example and support the next generation of women in cybersecurity. She shares her knowledge by volunteering at coding programs for young students and mentoring cybersecurity interns to provide them experience beyond what they learn in school. It makes her happy to see that there are so many initiatives to help young people to discover technology. In her childhood, this was not the case, ‘so I can only buy back time by supporting these initiatives’, she states.

Overall, it seems Ine has made great strides in growing Devoteam’s cybersecurity practice through her leadership, expertise, and commitment to inspiring and developing the next generation of cybersecurity talent.
