Daris Lisa
Business Analyst (Senior Consultant) – Devoteam
In less than two years, Lisa Daris (1999) has transitioned from a fresh graduate to a Senior Consultant and Business Analyst at Devoteam. Her profile is characterized by a steep growth curve and the delivery of high-impact projects in critical industrial environments. Her story is one of curiosity, determination, and a deep-seated belief in the power of community. She didn’t always know that she wanted a career in tech. Lisa Daris discovered her passion for it in university after realising she could bridge the human and technical sides of tech. At just 25 years old, she intentionally built that career.
Daris’s candidacy is supported by tangible operational results rather than mere potential. A standout achievement in her short career is her role as Project Manager for the ‘Safe At Work’ initiative, where she oversaw a rollout across multiple European sites that contributed to a 90% reduction in fatal accidents during vehicle unloading processes. Currently, she manages a dual role as Business Analyst and Scrum Master for a Vehicle Acceptance Modernisation project, tasked with replacing legacy systems with custom Java solutions. This adaptability is further evidenced by her rapid acquisition of certifications, including PSM1, PSPO1, and PRINCE2, achieved alongside her full-time consultancy work.
Beyond her project delivery, Daris positions herself as a visible advocate for diversity within the technical workspace. As an active member of the Wo-Men-X community and the LGBTQ+ community, she utilizes her platform to challenge subtle biases and promote tech careers to a broader demographic. ‘I am driven by a clear and ambitious vision: to excel in my career while inspiring the next generation of women in tech. I believe my own journey can serve as a light for others, showing young girls and students the rewarding possibilities that a career in technology offers’, Lisa Daris states.
Her ambition is to evolve into a C-level executive, viewing leadership through the lens of empathy and empowerment, while continuing to demystify the role of the Business Analyst for the next generation of talent.
