Bonne Charlotte
Technical analyst – Axxes NV
Charlotte Bonne (1996), Technical Analyst at Axxes, represents the new generation of IT professionals who are not afraid to tackle the industry’s heaviest foundations: mainframes. Currently deployed at ArcelorMittal Belgium, she combines technical depth with a clear trajectory toward solution architecture.
With a career spanning just five years, Bonne has rapidly evolved from a Java developer into a pivotal role within complex integration projects. At ArcelorMittal, she currently serves as the lead technical analyst and team lead for a mainframe integration project, a domain often characterized by steep learning curves and legacy complexity. Despite being the youngest member and the only female in her team, she has successfully guided the delivery of three releases, navigating the intricate connection between modern cloud applications for transport management and established backend environments.
Bonne strengthens her candidacy through her structural approach to knowledge sharing and diversity. Within Axxes, she co-founded the ‘Women in IT’ working group to organize internal training and awareness events, directly addressing the gender gap she observes in the field. ‘By starting the Women in IT initiative within Axxes, I hope to inspire more people (not only women) and hope to enlighten them on the issues concerning diversity. Our ultimate goal is that this even increases the number of female consultants within Axxes’, she states.
Furthermore, Charlotte Bonne is actively involved in the company’s internal training track, teaching colleagues skills ranging from interview techniques to SQL and API management. Earlier in her carreer, while working for Accenture, she was also part of the Women in architecture initiative. Within this initiative they organised multiple mentoring sessions with success.
Her ambition is explicitly technical; she aims to transition fully into the role of Solution Architect, driven by a desire to oversee the ‘bigger picture’ of software landscapes.
