Andreia Azevedo Heringer Negreira (31) is a Big Data Consultant at Big Industries, specializing in AWS solutions. In just two years, she has transitioned from being a career changer to an active and recognized member of the tech community in Belgium. Her journey into tech began in the most challenging of circumstances though ) while caring for her newborn and transitioning careers. She first started programming with YouTube tutorials during nap-time hours, and soon after, she joined BeCode. Starting with a data engineering bootcamp at BeCode, she quickly secured an internship at Big Industries and was soon hired full-time. Andreia is also an AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate and is currently pursuing further certifications.

A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Andreia mentors women transitioning into tech, providing support with job applications, CV reviews, and resources. She regularly shares expert tips on data engineering and Databricks on LinkedIn and uses her platform to inspire parents and career changers. Andreia is passionate about creating an inclusive ecosystem in tech and actively contributes to building a supportive community by sharing her story and encouraging others to do the same.
